Community Outreach

Virginia Beach Eye Center is proud to be part of the Hampton Roads community. The physicians and staff are passionate about serving others. This is demonstrated by a variety of outreach efforts including but not limited to:

• Working with Volunteers of America annually to sponsor an eye care clinic providing free eye examinations and eyeglasses to those who cannot afford these services.

• Providing free cataract surgery to the indigent throughout the year.

• Promoting an employee community service program in which staff members that have been employed at Virginia Beach Eye Center for 5 years or more are granted up to 40 hours of paid time to volunteer at the community outreach organization of their choice.
